REMEMBERANCE SERVICE 2025
We held a beautiful service of remembrance today in school, led by some of our Year 6 children. We were also joined by our Deer Friends.
Four of our Kindness Ambassadors represented our school at the Parish Rooms and laid a wreath to remember the fallen and those who still fight in wars and conflict today.

VE DAY 80TH ANNIVERSARY
As part of our celebrations for VE Day's 80th anniversary, children have taken part in a whole school assembly; a 2 minutes silence to remember all those who made the ultimate sacrifice; a street party at lunch time and the whole school had their photograph taken on the school field with children making the letters V E.
It has been a fantastic day!

KINDNESS FESTIVAL
Our Kindness Ambassadors organised a two day 'KINDNESS FESTIVAL'. They planned and delivered an assembly, organised activities for the whole school, arranged a picnic lunch (with a special visit from Ashley Bear from Ashgate Hospice) and timetabled Drumba sessions for all classes. As part of their 'acts of kindness', they baked and decorated cakes and delivered them to people in our community to thank them for their hard work and help. We put a big smile of lots of people's faces!
