from Year 1 to Year 6 we use White Rose Maths. We also have a section of App Based games that children are encouraged to use to practise their basic number skills.
In the EYFS we use the NCETM mastering number programme for all aspects of number. Our children in Year 1, 2 and 3 also enjoy an additional 15 minutes of the NCETM Mastering Number programme whole class intervention.
For children in Reception to Year 1 - we encourage you to log on to Numbots each night and practise just a few questions. You can also use the White Rose One-Minute Maths which is a great resource when time is limited.
When our children are in Year 2, we like them to complete the Numbots programme and move onto Times Table Rockstars before the end of the academic year.
Knowing times table facts and related division is such a vital skill as it underpins so many other things. We encourage all of our children from Year 3 to Year 6 to complete a few battles every night.
